Andre’s story began in South Africa, where he trained and worked as an accountant. But it didn’t take long before he was drawn to property – selling homes on weekends to make ends meet while still in his early twenties. That experience planted a seed: a love for homes, people, and the satisfaction of helping someone achieve something meaningful.
After building a successful career in executive finance and digital communications, including leading international business ventures and founding multiple companies, Andre and his family made the move to Australia in 2018, eventually settling in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast.
In 2023, he returned to his roots in real estate – this time with decades of business leadership experience, negotiation skills, and people-first values behind him. Sherman Real Estate was born with one goal in mind: to offer a smarter, simpler, and more supportive property experience for local homeowners.

Extremely positive experience with selling our house
Selling our house with Andre Sherman and the team at Danielle Young Property was an extremely positive experience for myself and my family.
Right from our initial meeting, Andre and Danielle gave us a great deal of confidence that they were the right people to market our home. Their knowledge of the current market regarding our requirements was comprehensive as was the outline of their marketing strategy, which included contingencies for all possible scenarios.
Communication throughout the entire process was transparent, open and honest and was facilitated through a WhatsApp group so all parties were looped in at all times.
Marketing was competitive and very professionally executed with amazing photography and videography that captured the unique essence of our home. We also opted to get the house styled which was handled by the same team and was, again, competitive and very professionally done.
